Forest Animal Alert System
AI-based wildlife monitoring project designed to detect animals near farms, classify risk, save evidence and send real-time alerts.
I developed this project independently from end to end. My work included requirement analysis, feature planning, UI/UX design, frontend development, backend development, database design, third-party integrations, testing, deployment and documentation.
The Problem
Farmers near forest borders face crop damage and safety risks from wild animals. Continuous manual monitoring is difficult, especially at night.

An AI-based surveillance platform that uses computer vision to detect animals, classify risk, and send early warning alerts.

Technology Stack
Detection & Alert Workflow
1. Input Acquisition
The system receives input from a live webcam, connected IP camera, uploaded image, or recorded video stream.
2. AI Identification
The model predicts the animal category (e.g., Elephant, Wild Boar) and displays a confidence score and risk level.
3. Action & Logging
An alarm is triggered, email notifications are sent, and an evidence image is securely saved to the detection record.
